Description
Bee pollen is often referred to as nature's most complete food. Bee pollen rejuvenates your body, stimulates organs and glands, enhances vitality and is suggested to enhance a longer life span. Bee pollen's ability to consistently and noticeably increase energy levels makes it a favorite substance among many people. Bee pollen is the food of the young bee and it is approximately 40% protein. It is considered one of nature's most complete nourishing foods. It contains nearly all nutrients required by humans. About half of its protein is in the form of free amino acids that are ready to be used directly by the body. Such highly assimilable protein can contribute significantly to one's protein needs. Bee pollen contains many substances that combine to make it a healthy, nutritious, complete food. There are numerous reports from medical experience that conclusively show the benefits of bee pollen exceed that of a simple food item. And the bees do most of the work. Bee pollen is a complete food and contains many elements that products of animal origin do not possess. Bee pollen is richer in proteins than any animal source. It contains more amino acids than beef, eggs, or cheese of equal weight. Bee pollen is particularly concentrated in all elements necessary for life. Researchers have demonstrated that there is a substance in bee pollen that inhibits the development of numerous harmful bacteria. Experiments have shown bee pollen contains an antibiotic factor effective against salmonella and some strains of bacteria. Bee Pollen granules are dried at low temperatures below 180 degrees F. and cleaned in sifters with air blowers. For longer shelf life - store in a cool dry area. How to Use Bee Pollen Each golden granule is densely packed with live enzymes, just about every nutrient that has a name, and some elements that science has not yet identified or labeled. Your digestive system may not be accustomed to such intensely rich food. If you are a beginner, introduce bee pollen into your diet slowly, a granule or two at a time. Before taking a full dose of pollen it is very important to test for a possible extreme allergic reaction by ingesting just one pellet. Then gradually build up over a week or so to the correct dose. When you buy pollen granules, select the ones with the widest range of colors, which reflects a variety of plant sources and therefore nutrients. Because bee pollen is not readily digestible, Itis suggested soaking pollen granules for 12 hours in water or juice to "crack" the shells of the individual grains of pollen. Without soaking, only 2 to 7 percent of the pollen is absorbed by the digestive system. After soaking, as much as 90 percent may be absorbed. Suggested Uses: 1. Don't cook with the granules or add powdered granules to anything that requires heat. Heat destroys the live enzymes and reduces the nutrient value. 2. Powder an ounce or two of granules and add cinnamon to taste. Cinnamon adds a delightful spiciness and aroma to the sweetness of pollen. 3. Stir powdered granules into vegetable juices, or even into water sweetened with raw honey. 4. Whirl the granules into salad dressings. 5. Sprinkle whole granules on toast topped with honey, peanut or almond butter. 6. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp on your cereal or mix with milk 7. Sprinkle over yogurt or ice cream 8. Mix into beverages and protein shakes Pure Bee Pollen is gathered from flower pollen. Proplis is from tree sap that the bees collect and mix with their saliva to cover their hive. There is No proplis in the Shiloh Farms Bee Pollen. Origin: China This product was packaged using equipment that also handles wheat, soy, peanuts and tree nuts. Ingredient: Bee Pollen Granules * Vegan
